Welcome to my new blog! First of all I'd like to give a shoutout to the Grizzily Print Parlour for the awesome design. I'm so excited to start this new journey with better photo quality, great posts and a new hosting site. My blog will no longer be at wordpress.com so if you used to follow my blog there there are some new options to follow. 1. Follow me here with Bloglovin'. 2. Follow through email (option on the sidebar) 3. Follow me through google follower (also on the side bar). If you follow me on Facebook or you type juliwilliams.com, don't worry everything for you is still them same with a few better changes. :)

Now if you are a blogger and you are wondering why I changed from Wordpress.com to Blogger.com here are some the reasons. First of all I think Wordpress has one of the best and user-friendly sites for blogging. However there are some downsides to Wordpress.com and one of those are that there are a lot of restrictions and rules you must follow. One of those restrictions is regarding blog design. You are pretty much set to their designs with a few changes which limits what you can accomplish with a new design and for that reason you will find that a lot of designers do not work on Wordpress.com sites. Other rules include advertisement on your site. You are not allowed to press any type of paid advertisement on your site and for that reason a lot of brands will refuse to work with bloggers on Wordpress.com sites. And since I want to be able to change, grow, and continue to expand my blog and opportunities I decided to make a move. And though the simplest answer was to move to Wordpress.org (they are different find out why here) there were a lot of costs and knowledge involved to make the move. So even though I know I will be losing some followers and ultimately starting on a clean slate, I believe in the end the results will be worth the cost.

I'm so excited to start over and get to share this journey with all of you.
